WomanCare specializes in treating women.

We care for women who have gynecological concerns and who are pregnant.

Women visit us for common concerns, such as contraception, fertility problems, menstrual cycle problems, PMS, urinary and vaginal infections, sexually transmitted diseases, osteoporosis, menopause, urinary incontinence, sexual issues and decreased libido, pain, ovarian cysts and many others.

We offer routine annual check-ups, including a Pap smear, screening for infections, pelvic and breast exam and appropriate bloodwork. We do screening bloodwork for anemia, cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid disease, hormones, Vitamin D and a wide range of other disorders.

CONTRACEPTION CHOICES

WomanCare provides a wide range of contraceptive choices. We fit diaphragms and IUD’s, prescribe oral contraceptives and Depo-Provera, Nexplanon and NuvaRing. We will help you evaluate the contraceptive method best for you. You will be advised of the potential side effects and risks.

FERTILITY

Our physicians are trained in the latest techniques to evaluate and treat couples experiencing difficulty achieving pregnancy. Ovulation enhancement, ultrasonography, in-office procedures, out patient surgical procedures and artificial insemination are examples of services available at WomanCare. Should a couple experience more complex problems requiring treatment by an infertility specialist, our physicians have close relationships with these specialists so that referrals are a seamless process. When a viable pregnancy is established the mother-to-be returns to WomanCare for her prenatal care.

LAB SERVICES

Northwest Clinical Laboratories (NCL) are located near or available in our offices for convenient lab services. Northwest Clinical Laboratories provides accurate, state-of-the-art lab services for a wide variety of medical procedures. Results are available online through eCW patient portal and MyChart so that you will have the results within a timely matter. We offer virtually any blood screening including: hormone levels, pregnancy, cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid disease, anemia and for many other medical and functional conditions. We also culture for strep throat, urinary tract and vaginal and other infections.

GYNE ULTRASOUND

Gyne Ultrasound is useful in detecting ovarian masses, cysts, uterine fibroids and other pelvic disease. Most ultrasounds require a full bladder to better visualize the internal structures. Our machines are state-of-the-art with advanced resolution. For couples trying to conceive, an ultrasound can monitor follicular development and ovulation. A special type of Ultrasound which is used to diagnose the cause of abnormal uterine bleeding and to evaluate the endometrial lining is performed in all locations.

SURGERY

Our physicians are skilled surgeons with special training and expertise in female surgery. A wide variety of common female operations are performed, including hysterectomy, pelvic reconstruction for prolapsed bladder, vagina or uterus , correction of urinary incontinence, laparoscopy, D and C, myomectomy, laser surgery, endometriosis surgery and tubal ligation, and many others. We do minimally invasive laparoscopic or DaVinci Robotic surgery whenever possible. Office Surgery – WomanCare is up to date with the latest technologies. Procedures, including breast aspirations, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endocervical curettage and ablations, polypectomies, LEEP, sonohysterograms, laser ablation of the cervix and mole removal are performed in our offices. In office procedures are convenient, safe and shorten the recovery from surgery. Woman are able to quickly return to an active lifestyle.

PMS

Premenstrual syndrome is a disorder of the second half of the menstrual cycle, increasing in frequency as women approach their 30’s and 40’s. Symptoms can be physical (bloating, water retention, breast tenderness, constipation, abdominal cramping and muscle aches) and emotional (fatigue, depression, irritability and weepiness). Many treatments, including traditional medications and alternative therapies, are available to lessen the symptoms associated with PMS.

THYROID

We check your thyroid function and determine the source and proper treatment for your symptoms. We use bioidentical and T3 therapies, as well as the full range of standard and holistic thyroid medications when determining a treatment plan for a particular individual. Thyroid ultrasounds are available in our office. We also recommend nutritional and supplement support for the thyroid.
