OUR PREGNANCY – WEEKS 32 TO 36   


Take another peek at your  baby 

 

Your Baby

 

  • Eyes are open
  • Is active when you are eating
  • Has patterns of sleep and wake
  • Weight is approximately 5-1/2 lbs. and is approximately 18 inches long

 

Your Body

 

  • Urinating increases
  • Becomes harder to sit and/or lay down
  • Heartburn may develop and/or continue
  • Hemorrhoids may develop
  • Fatigue increases
  • May experience periods of sweating
  • Braxton Hicks contractions (false labor) may begin

 

Office Visits Include: 

 

  • Blood pressure and weight check 
  • Urine dip  
  • Fundal height
  • Listening to fetal heart tones  
  • Obtain culture for Group B Strep (GBS)   
  • Review signs of labor
