The WomanCare Breast and Bone Density Center is a comfortable and attractive facility, with a feminine spa-like décor. Convenient early morning, evening, and Saturday appointments are available for women with busy schedules. Patients receive preferential treatment where privacy is respected. Our facility uses state-of-the-art equipment for all our studies, and Licensed and Certified technologists staff the center.
The FDA and ACR accredit our mammography services insuring the highest standard of care is maintained. All mammograms are interpreted by Board Certified Radiologists each day to ensure your results within 48 hours. Each mammogram is further reviewed using the R2 ImageChecker, which digitizes each image. This “second look” increases the diagnosis of breast pathology. In addition to a telephone result, each patient will also receive a follow up letter containing the results of the procedure.
Breast Ultrasound is performed daily. If needed, ultrasound guided biopsies and surgical consults can be scheduled within our facility.
Bone Density or DEXA scans are also available, including the vertebral fracture assessment.
